The Dancing Devil Level Up

Clopin had only moments to react. the voice who had called him, he KNEW was his "Master," Graz'zt, in disguise as one of the demon queens who was supposed to be present. A direct challenge. Of course, he was a mortal in the presence of hundreds of Demon Kings and Queens, and he was not about to let this fool of a lord get the best of him. He activated the Phase Blade ability that his newest companion, the spirit of a Fae who had made Clopin's body his host, had granted, and transformed his ever-reliable weapon, Trick, into a dagger to math the God-slaying Dagger he was given by Graz'zt himself to fulfill the mission to retrieve a lock of Lolth's hair. He drew that dagger as well, hoping to gain some minor advantage over Graz'zt, as both items had equally strong magical Auras. He ran and rove into the ring, but misjudged the distance, sliding to Graz'zt's feet. he laughed heartily at his fumbled attempt to impress the demon kings and queens ad Graz'zt drew the poisoned blade off of Clopin's back. "This Sword belongs to me, Fool of a traitor." He rose the sword high and slashed Clopin's back, but the moment the blade dug into flesh Glevin, from afar, cast his healing powers through the air, revitalizing Clopin. Taking the opportunity, Clopin shot to his feet, both daggers flying forward to attack Graz'zt.

Again, this proved futile, as their legs locked, catching both by surprise and fumbling the attacks. Finally Clopin rose to his full height, let out a howl and transformed into his half-man-half-wolf form, a gift of a werewolf clan just outside of the city of Judd. However, he found Graz'zt looking, not at him, but at Glevin, as a massive fireball shot out towards the young cleric. Luckily the cleric avoided a good deal of damage, but he was not unharmed. Clopin took the opportunity and rushed forward, activating Trick's ability to strike without error, granting it to the God-Slaying dagger that Graz'zt had given, but he noticed Graz'zt casting a spell on his weapon. In an instant, Clopin summoned his fae friend's powers again and aimed the spell instead at his own weapon, his reliable Trick. Ina split second his dagger lurched forward and stabbed graz'zt in the stomach, the phantom blade easily piercing his tough hide, and as he yanked it back out, he jammed Trick into the same hole, instantly using it's transforming ability to change it to a Bastard sword. The spell that graz'zt haad cast went of in a blast of light as the weapon sliced the torso in half, breaking the false image of the demon queen he held for all the Demon Kings and Queens present, to see. Graz'zt fell, screaming "YOU BLOODY FUCKING TRAITOR!!" and as the last breath was coming from his avatar's form, the demon kings and queens, all his enemies, ripped his remains apart.

Clopin returned to Glevin, saw that his wounds were tended, then walked the corridor from the part into the lair of the Spider Goddess Lolth, finally, to complete this quest and return to Dis, gaining his way into the 3rd level of Hell.
